Have we lost the art of reading books? Avid readers will tell you (rather loudly), “NO”! But what about the rest of us? We are a society now that not only stopped doing math calculations in our heads, but we’ve also become so reliant on the instant return of information from the computers in our hands (cell phones, tablets), that we no longer convert measurements, memorize as much, or read actual books.
The art of reading an actual in-your-hand-turn-the-pages book has become just that for many: an art. But if you are one who commutes or has made reading a priority again, and has some titles you are just excited to finally get to read this year, tell me, what are you reading?
I like to mix in some fiction with some non-fiction. I like personal development books because they not only help me in business, they help me in life! I like autobiographies to get a peek into the lives and minds of others. I also like history!
What do you like? I’ve listed the titles I’ve chosen for the year (the list grows), and the very next one I’ll be reading is “High Performance Habits, How Extraordinary People Become That Way,” by Brendon Burchard. Check out my list!
